This is a unique Nissin processing method that does not produce burrs when cutting metal materials with a press. Burrs can affect the quality of car batteries, so deburring was previously required after press processing, but this method provides high-quality products without burrs by pressing alone.

Thickening processing + tapping processing

Products that used to be manufactured by welding or cutting have now been integrated into press production. It is characterized by a thick tapped part, but the thickness is ensured by locally consolidating thin materials, and the tapping process is finished by press working.

Cold Forging

A product that was previously made up of two parts has been produced using integrated press production, using cold forging from rod-shaped material, which is different from plate material. Computer simulation is used to analyze the press process and select the optimal material shape. This product has achieved improved strength through one-piece formation.

This is a technology that processes plate material with a thickness of approximately 0.1mm to 2.0mm into a cylindrical shape without breaking it. Our unique mold technology ensures stable molding.

Corner drawing

We perform corner drawing, which is considered to be one of the most difficult drawing processes. The difficulty is controlling the material thickness at the four corners. A special mechanism built into the press machine allows you to freely process the shape of the end face on the opening side.

Image inspection equipment/press machine in-line inspection

Technology that only Nissin can provide
We are promoting the automation of visual product inspection and tray alignment using cameras and sensors, which used to be done manually. By operating robots, we have achieved improved productivity and stable quality control. Automation of appearance inspection is an effort to prevent defects from leaking out, but as an effort to prevent defects from occurring, we are incorporating cameras and sensors into press molds to detect signs of defects.

Integrated production line (pressing → degreasing → inspection → packaging)

Technology that only Nissin can provide
This is an automated production line from pressing to post-processing, inspection, and packaging. Each process is connected by a conveyor and transported automatically, so there is no work-in-progress, making it an extremely efficient integrated production system. Several types of parts are required to be packed in one tray, but several types are processed simultaneously using a press, and a robot takes them out of the mold and transports them to the tray. Because it eliminates the risk of out-of-stock items, our customers have praised our production line as safe and efficient.
