Since 2006, we have been accepting factory tours for fifth grade students at Setakita Elementary School as part of their social studies classes, with the aim of deepening their understanding of "Japanese industry."

On Tuesday, November 18th, 18 students visited our Otsu factory again this year.
First, we introduced the mechanism of press processing and our environmental initiatives, and then we showed the actual manufacturing site.
During the tour, it was impressive to see the children's expressions of amazement at the power of the press machine and their intent gaze on the movements of the robots performing automatic inspections.
They asked a lot of questions, and their interest in manufacturing was evident.

We hope that through this factory tour, you will be able to experience at least a little of the fun and appeal of manufacturing.
